Jane Amidei - Director of Sales And Marketing
After more than 30 years in new home sales for two major Chicagoland builders, Jane now has set her sights on making "home performance, energy-efficiency" and "weatherization" household words. Jane is a graduate of Marquette University and is working on her MBA at the University of Phoenix. She is an active member of her community, futhering her education through seminars and volunteering. Jane has two kids, one grandchild and resides in northerwestern suburban Chicago.
Dave Konen - Field Operations Manager
Dave has been in the construction industry for the past 27 years. Starting his career as a union carpenter, he worked his way from a journeyman to a foreman. He distinguished himself at Kirk Jones as a superintendent responsible for the construction of as many as 50 homes at a time. Highly skilled and with a firm understanding of home construction, Dave is responsible for all associated scheduling and customer servce implementation and reporting. Dave has one child and lives in northwestern suburban Chicago.
David Kirk - President, Owner
David has 25 years of construction and management experience as a partner of The Kirk Corporation, a leading suburban residential home developer. David led the development and construction of over 6,000 homes in the Chicago Metro area. Kirk Homes consistently received a high JD Power Rating for customer satisfaction. David has instilled this same emphasis on customer satisfaction at Smart Sealed. With David's background, he provides a comprehensive understanding of building components and building science and how they impact energy efficiency. David is married with one child and lives in Chicago proper.
Fred Gale - COO, Owner
Fred has 26 years of experience in sales, marketing and urban development with MBA from the University of Chicago and MS in Public Policy from Northwestern University. Fred also has five years experience at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development working on housing and economic development initiatives. Fred is a certified installer of Demilec and Icynene spray foam and has attended numerous training sessions on building science, energy efficiency and weatherization. Fred is married with two kids and resides in north suburban Chicago.
Mike Fiorino - VP of Technical Services and Energy Audits, Owner
Mike has 25 years of architectural and energy efficiency experience across multi-family residential and commercial projects. Mike is a certified HERS and BPI energy auditor. He is also a licensed architect in Illinois and Wisconsin. Mike's architectural experience provides him a comprehensive understanding of building science and the ability to consult homeowners and commercial property owners on practical energy efficiency solutions. Mike is married with two kids and resides in west suburban Chicago.
Tom Decker - Sale Director, Partner
Tom has three years of experience selling and growing energy efficiency and spray foam insulation companies in the Chicago area. He is recognized by many organizations in Chicago as a leading energy efficiency expert. Tom is a certified installer of Demilec and Icynene spray foam. He has 100+ hours of training in building science and energy efficiency. It is extremely important to Tom that his customers are educated on the best and most practical energy efficiency improvements. Tom is married with two kids and resides in north suburban Chicago.
