Where We Weatherize
Our weatherization experts fill the cracks and voids that allow outside air to enter your home. By installing caulking, weather stripping and other low-cost solutions, we can significantly improve your home’s
energy efficiency.
Windows and Doors – Caulk frames and trim and weather strip at top and bottom of window and doors
Attic Hatch – Install weather strip; spray foam
Electrical Outlets – Install gaskets around outlets; fill gaps with expanding foam
Bathroom Exhaust Fans – Seal inside enclosure with aluminum tape
Trim – Caulk baseboards
Recessed Lighting – Seal edges of can lights on second floor that penetrate attic space; install fire-rated insulation in attic around insulation
Ceiling Fans – Spray foam
Space Pack Air Conditioning Ducts – Install caps for ducts in the winter
Sealing Air Ducts – Seal with fiber-reinforced mastic
Dryer Vent- Install/replace dampers in exhaust ducts to prevent outside air from entering house
Basement Sill Plate – Seal gaps where the basement ceiling meets the foundation wall
Pipes and conduits – Seal around any pipes, conduits, wires, or cables that pass between floors
Chimney/Fireplace – Seal any gaps around the fireplace chimney, furnace fluepipe and vent pipes that extend through the attic

BPI trained Installer – Our weatherization team includes BPI certified building analyst. They have been trained to fully understand building science to know how a house/building is put together and what are the best methods and materials for the making the home energy efficient. They are trained to utilize blower door and infrared scanning technology to identify the sources of energy loss in your home.
Advanced Technology – We utilize blower door and infrared while we weatherize and insulate to ensure that we provide a seamless air barrier with no empty pockets that lower the energy efficiency of the building.
